Inclusion is part of responsible governance.

Aqitas helps organisations evaluate evidence, manage risk and create accountable decision processes. We apply the same principles to how we build our company.

We aim to create an environment where people are treated fairly, supported to contribute and able to challenge decisions constructively. This means recognising that equal treatment does not always produce equal access, and that responsible organisations must actively identify barriers within their systems, processes and culture.

Our approach to diversity, equity and inclusion is practical rather than performative. It influences how we recruit, design products, select partners, evaluate risk and engage with the organisations we serve.

Employment decisions should be based on relevant capability, performance, potential and organisational need. We do not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment, victimisation or exclusionary behaviour.

Fairness must be designed into decision systems.

Responsible AI requires more than model performance. It requires organisations to understand how systems are trained, how decisions are reached, who may be affected and what controls exist when something goes wrong.

Aqitas supports structured governance through evidence collection, risk assessment, approval workflows, decision records and ongoing monitoring.

Aqitas does not claim that technology alone can create fairness. Fair outcomes require informed people, clear standards, representative input and accountable leadership.

Access should not depend on ability.

Aqitas aims to provide digital experiences that are clear, understandable and accessible. We are working towards recognised accessibility standards and seek to consider keyboard navigation, colour contrast, screen-reader compatibility, content hierarchy, motion preferences and readable language.
